Meet Rebecca Lawson

Rebecca Lawson is a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, Childbirth Educator, and Reiki Practitioner committed to guiding individuals on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and transformation. With a deep passion for mindfulness, self-compassion, and holistic well-being, Rebecca helps others cultivate inner peace and resilience in their personal and parenting journeys.

Originally from the UK, Rebecca’s path to mindfulness began during her years living in Singapore, where she immersed herself in Buddhist teachings and meditation practices. She experienced firsthand the profound benefits of mindfulness and self-compassion, particularly in managing chronic pain and emotional well-being. This transformative experience led her to train under world-renowned teachers Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield at the Greater Good Science Center, becoming a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher.

Beyond meditation, Rebecca’s passion for supporting individuals through pregnancy, birth, and parenthood inspired her to become a Certified Childbirth Educator and a Mindful Birthing & Parenting Teacher. She has also trained as a Trauma-Informed Childbirth Educator and is currently completing her Lactation Consultant certification to provide even greater support to new parents.

Now based in Boise, Idaho, Rebecca combines her diverse expertise to offer mindfulness meditation, mindful birthing, and holistic wellness practices. Whether working with individuals seeking inner peace or expectant parents preparing for birth, she empowers her clients to embrace mindfulness, reduce stress, and cultivate a deeper connection with themselves and their loved ones.

From Personal Discovery to

During her years in Singapore, Rebecca immersed herself in Buddhist teachings and mindfulness meditation, realizing its profound impact on chronic pain management, emotional well-being, and self-discovery.

This passion led her to train with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield at the Greater Good Science Center, becoming a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher.

In addition, she pursued extensive training in mindful birthing, trauma-informed childbirth education, and Reiki healing.

Now, she empowers individuals and families through meditation, parenting support, and holistic healing, offering compassionate guidance to those seeking inner peace and transformation.

  • Rebecca’s career started by her studying at King’s College Hospital in London and enjoying a career in the National Health Service (NHS).
  • Rebecca has supported patients on the cancer and HIV clinics during her time working at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital London.
  • Rebecca saw the amazing results of mindfulness whilst supporting patients through medical treatments.
  • Rebecca worked as a senior member of staff at NHS Horsham Hospital UK, supporting patients with disabilities including but not limited to Parkinson’s, Autism, MND, Dementia, MS.
  • During Rebecca’s time living in Singapore, she worked with the charity ‘Caring for Cambodia’ – the charity was involved in building new schools and providing health screenings for the children of Cambodia.
  • Rebecca also volunteered in Singapore for another charity called ‘Babes’, where she provided free childbirth classes for teenage parents.
  • Rebecca has lived, travelled and worked internationally for many years giving her a deep understanding of many different cultures .
